- Kathy Carlton Willis grew up in small-town America and married her highschool sweetheart, Russ. They both graduated from Baptist Bible College. Kathy is a freelancer, and works as: writer, editor, publicist, writer’s coach, book doctor, speaker, and more. Kathy is somewhat of a grammar guru, with columns for writers appearing in several publications, including ByLine Magazine. She has a background in newspaper journalism, working as copyeditor and feature writer for The Sunday Challenger.
